Marc Quinn's work is ubiquitous in London this week, and in demand. The 44-year-old British artist unveiled his first range of furniture - marble chairs and tables inlaid with giant flowers-at the Carpenters Workshop Gallery stand at DesignArt London (until 19 October).

The Seneca hall table is by the fabulously named American septuagenarian Wendell Castle, whose work is a hybrid of fine art and design. Trained as a sculptor, Castle is famous for his organically shaped furniture and iridescent surface treatments.
